Online Visual Content Competition

An online competition among university students will be organized where young participants will produce and share their visual content to raise awareness about or contribute to the capability to fight radicalization.
 
Execution: Participants, whose application is accepted, are expected to produce short video clips that address particular dimensions of CVE. The successful ideas and effective productions will be uploaded to the YouTube and they will be publicized through the project website. A bilingual structure is expected in video contents (Turkish and English subtitles). To support student groups to produce high quality visual content, each group will be funded to cover the visual material production and the post-production costs amounting to USD 1.250 for each group.
 
Expected outcome: It is expected to draw attention to the issue of countering violent extremism in line with the multimedia age and to produce content suitable for new media with video clips. Thus, the main purpose is to create awareness that can appeal to young audiences and to use multimedia.

About Online Visual Content Competition

  • What is Online Visual Content Competition?

    Online Visual Content Competition is an online contest in which video clips are created/produced to raise awareness about or contribute to the capability to fight radicalization and CVE.

  • Application Requirements

    - Participants are allowed to apply through the student groups.

    - The approval letter from the faculty member advising the student group is required.

    - Other details regarding the application process can be found within the application form.

    Note: The contest will be held in Turkish.

  • Who can apply?

    All graduate and undergraduate students having considerable interest and curiosity towards the field, possesing required knowledge and prior experiences/projects regarding CVE are sincerely welcome to take part in the contest from different cities and universities.
